‘KALLYAL KOOTTAYMA ’
By nature a socio cultural Koottayma, formed in December 2005 by like minded UAE resident members of ‘Sree Kallyal Muchilot Bhagavathee Kshethram’ at Kanhangad Kerala. Sree Kallyal Muchilot Bhagavathee Kshethram, one of the holly shrines of the ‘Vaniya’ Community in north Malabar. Vaniya’ is the name of a small community and the people are popularly known as Vaniyas, Chakkala nairs,Gaanigas,Pattalees etc.
Sree Muchilot Bhagavathi is the Kuladevatha of this community and more than hundred Muchilot Kshethrams are spread over north Malabar carrying different myths and facts associated with.
